Paris strengthened their position in the Marmara Spike League standings with a straight-sets victory over Cannes, winning 3-0 (25-22, 25-23, 31-29) in Round 21 action.
The home side secured three important points in the first match under newly appointed head coach Mauricio Paes. The result lifts Paris to 22 points, drawing level with Narbonne in the lower half of the table as the race for survival tightens.
Vasilii Molotkov led all scorers with 21 points, combining efficiency in attack with three blocks and two aces. For Cannes Joao Noleto and Xander Ketrzynski scoed 14 points each.
