„I think that the most diffucult match was against Bulgaria yesterday. I don’t know how we won that match, but we did it. And finally today, everybody told us it was going to be an easy game, but it wasn’t. One point, one detail decided. Maybe, the match could be completely different in case we lost one set. I think we played a perfect match today. Slovenia players are really, really good. Their two receivers are great. We are so happy for this gold. It’s like a dream.“
Rouzier then had an interesting remark:
„I don’t know how it’s possible to win European Championship and not be at Olympic Games? It’s a question of money, I think. I’m sure in this. In every collective sport, basketball or handball, European champions go to the Olympic Games. I’m sad about it because we have to achieve it in January in Berlin against eight best European teams and that will be even more difficult tournament than this one. I hope everything will be OK.“
For the end, the MVP of EuroVolley stated that he need to join his club Arkas immediately.
„I start championship in three days. My coach asked me to be in Izmir tomorrow. It’s crazy, but i will have to do it.“
