The receiver-striker played for Beauvais since 2008. In May, after a satisfactory season on a personal level, despite the club’s descent, the player expected a gesture from his first club. Four years elapsed between his arrival at Bouc and the descent into League B. No misunderstanding so far, but things will soon change: “I wanted to stay in the club, but the president (Joel Thiebaut) misunderstood”, says Florian. “He thought I wanted to leave. I also made a mistake of interpretation, and thought he don’t want me.”
A blur remains on the reasons for the departure of Florian Lacassie, but the damage seems more profound: “They (the leaders) have played too much on the side ‘is, it’s your club at tho bottom of your heart’”, laments right-hander who considers that the wage proposal of the club was not up to his commitment to Bouc during the last four years. “It is not at 21 you are doing the social service. No agreement on salary and then no discussion on the sports project. We barely talked“, acknowledges Lacaisse.
So the player is free. Not really. The story is definitely not that simple. The Bouc requires the payment of compensation for training by the club wanting to purchase him. The Amount: € 6,000.
“When I realized that I was not kept, I didn’t think those fees will be on. Just thought I would have a choice to make“, admits, somewhat bitter, a native of Toulon. Few clubs, especially in times of this big economic crysis, are willing to pay the asking price.
