GERMAN CUP W: Cansu Aydinogullari leads Stuttgart to the semifinals

Stuttgart, Suhl and Dresdner have managed to reach the semifinals of the women’s German Volleyball Cup.

The Turkish setter Cansu Aydinogullari led her team Stuttgart to the win over Erfurt to reach the semifinals. She was running all of the actions in a good way and Krystal Rivers took the advantage of Cansu’s great display to become the best scorer of the game with 15 points.

Dresdner will be playing also in the semifinals after beating Aachen in straight sets, while Suhl knocked out Vilsbiburt in the tie-break 3-2 (26-24, 15-25, 21-25, 25-21, 15-11).

The last semifinalist will be decided tomorrow after Potsdam – SC Schweriner clash. Recall that Schweriner is the reigning champions of the German Cup.

Women’s German Cup, quarterfinals:

Dresdner – Aachen 3-0 (26-24, 25-20, 25-15)

Suhl – Vilsbiburt 3-2 (26-24, 15-25, 21-25, 25-21, 15-11)

Stuttgart – Erfurt 3-0 (26-24, 25-13, 25-20)

November 24:

Potsdam – SC Schweriner
