After almost being eleminated by SC Potsdam in the quarterfinals, Schweriner SC started the semifinals with a win against VC WIESBADEN 3:0. Anne Buijs was the best player for Schweriner SC, Ksenija Ivanovic for VC WIESBADEN.

VC WIESBADEN was the only team that managed to defeat Schweriner on their home court during the regular season, but that wasn’t repeated. The home team won in front of 1389 spectators.

The guests were in the match only in the first set. Schweriner was leading 14:7, WIESBADEN managed to come to a single point 14:13, but that was all they could do. By the second tehnical time out it was 16:13 and the host closed the set with nine point difference 25:16.

Second set was the shortest so far for SSC in this season. After 18 minutes it was 25:5.

SSC also had the third set in their hands, led throughout this part and won 25:15.

Anne Buijs was the best player for Schweriner SC, Ksenija Ivanovic for VC WIESBADEN.
