The players were joined with the mascot who posed along with them. The team photos were shot and they will be used as the team’s poster. After the session, some of the players gave interviews.
Giovani Guidetti wants to use European League as preparation for the European Championship that will be held later this year.
“First goal is to see the players I do not know so good. The second one is to find the 14 players that will play on the Grand Prix (2.8.-1.9.) and also on the European Championship. The third goal is to reach the finals and qualify for the Grand Prix in 2014“, Guidetti said.
The following players will play against Belgium: Denise Hanke, Lena Möllers, Christiane Fürst, Berit Kauffeldt, Anja Brandt, Maren Brinker, Anne Matthes, Jana-Franziska Poll, Jennifer Geerties, Margareta Kozuch, Saskia Hippe, Lenka Dürr.
