In a high-intensity encounter Friedrichshafen claimed a tight opening set after saving multiple set points. Berlin, however, responded with authority, raising their level in serve, attack, and defense to take control of the match.

Jake Hanes led the way with 28 points, including six aces, as the defending champions turned the momentum in their favor. Key contributions from Moritz Reichert and Ruben Schott added stability, while Berlin’s blocking and consistency proved decisive in the closing stages.

After edging a competitive third set, the hosts dominated the fourth, punishing Friedrichshafen errors to seal the win in front of a strong home crowd.

Berlin can now secure a place in the final with victory in the return match, while Friedrichshafen must win on home court to keep the series alive.

In the second semifinal, SVG Lüneburg meet SWD powervolleys Düren.

Result: Berlin Recycling Volleys – VfB Friedrichshafen 3:1 (29–31, 25–18, 25–23, 25–17)
