Sippola
After arrival of Canadian playmaker Jan Blankenau, Evivo Powervolley Düren has added Finnish setter Jani Sippola to their roster.
The head coach of this German team Tommi Tiilikainen wanted Sippola at any cost. On the other side, Finnish setter had the same wish:
“I’ve always wanted to play in one of his teams” says Sippola.
Former player of Düren Georg Klein was the first man who meets Sippola with his future club.
“I went with Georg to watch some home games of Düren. The fans created a great atmosphere. It was easy for me to make decision afterwards” explains Sippola.
