Greece beat Montenegro at the end of a real marathon (25-20, 25-18, 32-34, 22-25, and 15-11). Everything looked easy for Greece in the first two sets before their opponents could fend off five match balls in set 3 and seize it with the incredible score of 34-32.

Montenegro played well also in set 4 and called for the tie-break where Greece eventually could finish it off at 15-11. Greece’s opposite Mitar Tzourits amassed a total of 36 points while Costas Christofidelis also performed well registering 20. Milos Culafic and Aleksandar Milivojevic top scored for Montenegro with 28 and 22 respectively.
