The reigning champions Perugia had a very difficult game for the end of 2018, in which they managed to prevail over Verona.

Wilfredo Leon (27 points), Aleksandar Atanasijevic (22 points) and Filippo Lanza (16 points) were the players who created a comeback against Verona as they were trailing 2-1.

However, after a good display in the last two sets, they won the game and ended the year in a victorious way.

In Verona, Matey Kaziyski was the best scorer with 19 points, while Stephen Boyer scored 17 and Sebastian Sole added 15.
