Filottrano published that the U.S. player Paige Tapp has informed the club that she was not able to commit to sporting experience away from home country for personal reasons.

As a 24-year-old middle blocker said to Filottrano management, she wants to move away from playing professional Volleyball. The sudden decision of Paige Tapp, that came a few days before the start of the preparations for the new season, will force Filottrano to intervene on the market that is about to close.

Paige Tapp has been playing professionally for only three years. She came to Filottrano from Allianz MTV Stuttgart with whom she won the German Championship last season. With the U.S. National Team, she won the gold medal in the Pan American Cup two times as well as in the NORCECA Champions Cup, a week ago.

Her twin sister Hanna Tapp is also a professional Volleyball player anda member of the U.S. National Team. Next season, she will defend the colors of the Brazilian top division newcomers Flamengo.
