Italy claimed the FIVB Boys’ U19 Volleyball World Championship gold medal, the first in this age category after 22 years.

The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) has nominated best players on each position at the end of the U19 World Championship final between Italy and Russia.

The MVP award went into hands of outside hitter from the winning side Tommaso Rinaldi. The 17-year-old player is a member of Azimut Leo Shoes Modena U21 team.

Best Setter – Paolo Porro (ITA)

Best Outside Hitters: Tommaso Rinaldi (ITA) and Omar Kurbanov (RUS)
