Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza have advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2020/21 Italian Men’s Volleyball Championship playoffs.

No.6 Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza were better than no.11 Kioene Padova in Game 2 of the Preliminary Round of the 2020/21 Italian Men’s SuperLega Credem Banca playoffs and qualified to the quarterfinals: 3-1 (25-17, 25-20, 22-25, 25-20).

German Georg Grozer was the top scorer on the winning side but also in the whole match with 20 points of which 6 came from the service line. Lorenzo Bernardi’s team will face Itas Trentino in the next stage.

No.9 NBV Verona don’t give up. They equalized the series against no.8 Allianz Milano at 1-1, winning Game 2 at home in 4 sets. The Verona captain Matey Kaziyski stood out in the match.
