Game 2 of the 2020/21 Italian Men’s SuperLega Credem Banca playoff semifinals between regular-season winners Perugia and no.4 Monza went in the favor of the former: 3-1 (25-22, 22-25, 31-29, 25-15). Thus, the ‘Block Devils’ avoided being in the inevitable situation like in Game 1, now needing one more win to advance to the final.
Cuban-Polish Wilfredo León excelled for Perugia, scoring 23 points. Dutchman Thijs Ter Horst was great in serving (5 aces), while Argentine Sebastián Solé set up 4 blocks. Turkish Adis Lagumdžija (26 points) and Thomas Beretta (5 blocks) stood out on the losing side.
