Conegliano, the defending champions and reigning giants of Italian, European, and world volleyball, put on a show in the quarterfinals today, sweeping Megabox Ond. Savio Vallefoglia 3-0. Vallefoglia fought valiantly, with standout Bici scoring 16 points and adding three blocks, but Conegliano’s depth and precision proved too much.
Led by captain Wolosz, Conegliano saw four players hit double digits: Haak (16 points), Gabi (14), Fahr (13, MVP), and Zhu (10). Their teamwork and efficiency were on full display, closing 2024 in style and cementing their status as the team to beat.
