Itas Trentino finished the first half of the SuperLega Credem Banca season as “winter champions” after a dramatic final round, topping the standings on set ratio ahead of Rana Verona and Sir Susa Scai Perugia.

Trentino secured first place with a 3–2 home comeback against Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza. Verona dropped to second after losing at home to Valsa Group Modena in four sets, while Perugia remain firmly in the title race after already winning their Round 12 match, giving them a three-point cushion heading into the second half of the season.
In other matches, Cucine Lube Civitanova outlasted Allianz Milano in five sets to strengthen their hold on sixth place, and Sonepar Padova earned a key road win at Cisterna Volley to move closer to the playoff spots.
Individually, Vero Volley Monza’s Krisztian Padar led the round with 28 points in a five-set victory over Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina, the longest match of the weekend. Trentino’s Thomas Beretta also reached a milestone, recording the 600th block of his SuperLega career.
The tightly packed standings underline one of the most competitive SuperLega seasons in recent years as the race resumes after the midpoint.
