Prosecco Doc A. Carraro Imoco Conegliano captured their ninth Italian championship after defeating Numia Vero Volley Milano 3-0 in Game 4 of the Serie A1 Tigotà Finals.
The victory in front of a sold-out Allianz Cloud crowd in Milan gave Conegliano their eighth consecutive league crown, further underlining the club’s dominance in Italian women’s volleyball.
Isabelle Haak led the champions with 19 points and was named MVP of both the match and the Finals series. Paola Egonu scored a match-high 24 points for Milano, but the home side could not extend the series.
Gabriela Gabi Guimaraes added 11 points for Conegliano, while Khalia Lanier finished with 13 for Milano.
It was Conegliano’s 31st trophy overall and another title for head coach Daniele Santarelli.
