The player himself confirmed this info in the interview for gazzetta.it.
“Yes it is true. The Brazilian market is now in crisis. My former club Sesi had to cut the budget, so I decided to move to Modena. I signed a one-year contract, with an option to extend it for one more year. Modena is a spectacular city. Last year I was there with the Brazilian national team and the kindness of the local people was exceptional” said Saatkamp.
Brazilian middle blocker added that Bruno Rezende played a part in persuading him to come to Italy, while he also stated that he especially like the game of Earvin N’Gapeth.
“Certainly the fact that Bruno is there pushed me to accept the offer. We won many trophies together. The whole team is great. I really like the French spiker who is one of the best players in the team.”
