Many world-class players signed with Lube this summer and one of them is Micah Christenson, the starting setter of the USA team. Young American has finally joined his new teammates and expressed his joy for coming to such a huge club.
“I am really eager to start with this adventure. I have already seen that Civitanova is a beautiful city to live and so far people from club have made me feel like at home. I am very motivated to give my best in my first season overseas. I watched a few Serie A games on the TV and I am aware how difficult the championship is, as well as the Champions League, another major competition that we are about to participate. Playing in this jersey, which have been worn by numerous volleyball stars, is a great honor for me. I have no personal goals, I am here to help the team score many wins.”
Christenson will wear number 11 in Lube.
