Lube
After losing the first set, Lube managed to tie by winning the second set 26-24! They worked hard for this set, and in another two they even raised level of play. Sir Safety Conad PERUGIA didn’t have solution and had to surrender in another two sets!
The Serbian opposite Ivan Miljković was the top scorer in Lube with 14 points, while Juantorena and Podraščanin added 11 each. On the other side, young Serbian bomber Aleksandar Atanasijević ended game with 29 points. But, it was not enough obviosly.
CMC Romagna made major upset of the round! They beat reigning champions Diatec TRENTINO in five sets 3-2 (18-25, 25-20, 19-25, 25-22, 16-14).
Maurice Torres was the most efficient player on away side with 25, while Van Garderen added 19! Mitar Djurić was the top scorer in Trentino.
The leaders of the Italian volleyball Serie A1 Modena have managed to score a victory on the road against Top Volley LATINA. But, it was not an easy win.
Earvin Ngapeth was in the spotlight with 25 points, while on the other side Pavlov scored 18.
Verona have scroed the victory as well. Taylor Sander and Uroš Kovačević led their team to the win over Piacenza.
