Serie A1 team hired sixth player for the season 2016/2017. Floriana Bertone, an occasional member of Italy National Team, joined Bolzano.
Middle blocker, which took gold medal at 2011 World Junior Championship, came from Liu Jo Modena.
Before Bertone, Bolzano hired French Bauer, Dutch Grothues, Pincerato, American Bartsch and Zambelli as well as coach Salvagni.
