“I have been to Palaverde two years ago with Piacenza and I liked the gym very much. The atmosphere, the audience, all was very nice, and now I’m very happy to be here in this jersey. When the club contacted me, I checked a bit on its goals, the roster that was forming and I agreed enthusiastically. Conegliano is a very organized club and with serious targets, ideal for me. And then, coming back to Italy is very exciting. I like the league which is, unlike the Turkish league where there are three or four good teams, much more balanced. I like the warmth of the audience on and off the court,” De Kruijf said.
