“It’s never been a good thing when you lose a game. I think that we played well in three sets, but I didn’t like the start of the fourth set. We were under the impression of losing the third part of the game and we let them create huge advantage at the start of this set. Afterwards, we couldn’t make comeback. It was first match in the new season and all I can say is that we could do it much better. Tomorrow we have to meet a very good rival Trentino, who played very good against Modena. If we repeat the performance from the first three sets, we will be able to achieve good result” says Stankovic.
For the first time after so many seasons, Podrascanin was playing against you – how did you feel during the game?
“It was a weird situation. We played since 2010 together in club and in the national team. But, this is just a sport. We had to split one day. From this season we are playing separately and I hope that both of us will be title contenders,” says Stankovic.
