ITA M: Sold-out in Trento and Civitanova – Lorenzetti can count on Antonov, Perugia bring 400 fans to “PalaTrento”

Diatec Trentino are defending nearly a year-long home court invincibility (suffered last defeat at “PalaTrento” April 26, 2016) in Game 3 of the Italian Men’s Volleyball Championship (Lega Pallavolo Serie A UnipolSai) playoff semifinals against Sir Safety Conad Perugia.

For the fourth time this season, “PalaTrento” is sold out, so 4,000 spectators are expected tonight (18:00 CET), among them about 400 Perugia fans.

Trentino coach Angelo Lorenzetti can rely on all players in Game 3 (1-1 in series), which includes Oleg Antonov who recovered from a thigh injury. The expected line-up of Trentino (No.2): Setter – Giannelli, opposite – Štokr, receivers – Lanza and Urnaut, middle blockers – Van de Voorde and Solé and libero Colaci.

As for No.3 Perugia, their coach Lorenzo Bernardi will not be able to count on American Aaron Russell (ankle) and Emanuele Birarelli (back). Line-up: Setter – De Cecco, opposite – Atanasijević, middle blockers – Podraščanin and Buti, receivers – Berger and Zaytsev and libero Bari.

No.1 Cucine Lube Civitanova and No.2 Azimut Modena will play Game 3 (1-1) of their semifinals (18:00 CET) at Lube’s “Eurosuole Forum” which is sold-out for this match, a week ago. So far this season, Lube have 3-2 against Modena.

Expected line-ups (no injured players): Lube: Christenson-Sokolov, Stanković-Candellaro, Juantorena- Kovář, libero Grebennikov;

Modena: Orduna-Vettori, Le Roux-Holt, E. Ngapeth-Petrić, libero Rossini.
