Japan’s SV.League saw record-breaking attendance as 11,599 fans packed Ariake Arena on Sunday. The headline match between Suntory Sunbirds Osaka and Tokyo Great Bears did not disappoint, ending in a thrilling 3-2 win for Tokyo (17-25, 25-20, 24-26, 25-20, 15-13). Maciej Muzaj led Tokyo with 20 points. Suntory’s Dmitriy Muserskiy topped the match with 31 points.

Suntory avenged their loss on Monday with a dominant 3-0 win (25-20, 25-18, 25-20), Muserskiy scoring 19 points. Elsewhere, Osaka Bluteon maintained top position with back-to-back wins over Sakai Blazers, led by Miguel Lopez and Yuji Nishida.
