Thanks to Senegalese opposite hitter Fatou Diouck, the second seed Korea Expressway Corporation Hi-Pass downed No.3 GS Caltex Seoul Kixx in five sets in Game 1 of the V League playoff semifinals.
Diouck poured in 29 points against her former team for which she competed last season and helped Expressway to come one step closer to securing a spot in the finals against Hungkuk Life Pink Spiders.
According to the Korean media, Diouck had support on the stands by her brother and sister and by the Senegalese consul in the country’s capital Seoul which made her performance in the match even more significant.
