The second seed Hyundai Capital Skywalkers won Game 2 of the Dodram 2018-2019 V League playoff finals against No.1 Incheon Korean Air Jumbos, pushing titleholders to the brink of losing the championship: 3-2 (27-25, 25-22, 13-25, 21-25, 15-13). Since both games in the finals ended with a tie-break, Game 3 will likely bring another spectacle. It is worth mentioning that no club bounced back from 0-2 in the 24-year history of the Korean national championship playoff finals.
Hungarian Krisztián Pádár top-scored for Skywalkers with 21 points but exhausted all of his energy before the tie-break and was replaced. Choi Min-Ho made five kill blocks. As for the Jumbos, Jung Ji-Seok scored 26 points.
Game 3 is scheduled for March 26 at Skywalkers’ hall for the first time in the series so far.
