Toray Arrows recorded the sixth successive win in the 2019/20 V.League Division 1 Women regular season and for that, they can thank Azerbaijani international Jana Kulan. An experienced outside hitter scored 22 points (60% attack success rate) in the Round 9 match against Toyota Auto Body Queenseis, who spoiled a good impression from the beginning of the season: 3-0 (25-20, 25-14, 25-22). The team from Kariya had 7-0 at one moment but now suffered the second defeat in the last three games.
Denso Airybees continued their unbeaten run that now consists of eight matches! Led by the import from Trinidad and Tobago, Sinead Jack (18 points), they swept NEC Red Rockets.
