Branik
The best Slovenian female teams of the last decade Nova KBM Branik and Calcit Volley competed in the final of the national cup (Pokal ženske) for the 5th successive time. Branik regained the crown after prevailing over the Final 4 hosts and also the trophy holders Calcit in the 5-setter: 3-2 (25-21, 19-25, 26-24, 17-25, 17-15). Thus, Branik won the competition for the 18th time.
Anita Sobočan top-scored for the winners with 21 points and was named MVP of the Final 4. Serbian Olivera Kostić poured in 28 points for Calcit.
