CAVB M: Egypt Boys claim African championship title

Egypt claimed the title at the 12th Boys' Youth African Nations Championship following their third victory in a row over dark-horse finalists Rwanda. Egypt overcame Rwanda

Tunisia ended their campaign with a 3-1 (18-25, 25-20, 25-21, 25-23) win against hosts Algeria.

Egypt’s victory improved their win:loss ratio to 3:0. They clinch their third victory in the history of the competition. Tunisia finished second, with a 2:1 record, ahead of third-placed Rwanda (1-2) and the fourth-place Algeria (0-3).

The four teams secured their tickets to the FIVB World Championship of this age category, to be held in Mexico this summer.

Best Server: Nadavisasve (Rwanda)
Best Defense: Mohamed Ramdan (Egypt)
