Emilce Sosa, known to all as ‘Mimí’, returned to the Argentine courts after nearly a decade. A 33-year-old player is to wear a jersey of two-time consecutive vice-champions San Lorenzo.

The last time the middle blocker competed in her home country was in 2010/11 when she defended the colors of Boca Juniors. Sosa came to San Lorenzo after taking a year off. The last club for which a former Argentina National Team member (retired internationally in 2018) played was Brasília Vôlei, a club in Brazil.
