The top-seed Holte IF won the 3rd match of the final series of the 2020/21 Danish Women’s VolleyLigaen against the debutants in the title series, the 3rd-seed Gentofte Volley: 3-0 (25-20, 25-20, 25-15). Thus, Holte secured the title for the 3rd season in a row, picking up the 18th trophy in the competition in total – by far the most (Helsingør KFUM are the closest followers with 9 titles).

Holte swept the final series (3-0) that featured 2 clubs from neighboring cities for the first time in the history of topflight. American Ava Cramp scored 13 points (including 5 blocks) for the winning side in Game 3. Charlene Mayo Johnsen put down 14 points for Gentofte.
