The 2nd-seed Maaseik had to hand over the Belgian Men’s Championship title to arch-rivals Roeselare.
After losing the first match of the series of the 2020/21 EuroMillions Volley League playoff finals (1-3), Roeselare took no less than 9 sets in a row, i.e. next 3 games in straight sets, and won the 12th national title in club history by which they moved up to the 2nd place in the all-time list, having now 4 trophies less in the competition than no.1 Maaseik.
Hendrik Tuerlinckx top-scored Roeselare in Game 4 with 16 points and was aearded MVP of the finals. Dennis Deroey made 73 % reception (15 digs, 1 error, 13 % excellent). Dutchman Jelte Maan tallied 12 points for Maaseik, including 4 blocks.
