SUI M: Chênois crowned as champions first time in 9 years

Chênois Genève Volleyball became the Swiss Men’s Volleyball champions for the 7th time in their history.

The 2nd-seed Chênois Genève Volleyball dominated regular-season winners LINDAREN Volley Amriswil in Game 4 of the 2020/21 Swiss Men’s NLA (3-0: 28-26 25-21 25-20) playoff finals, won the series by a 3-1, and got crowned as champions.

Serbian Strahinja Brzaković highlighted the titleholders with 20 points in a decisive game. His compatriot Dejan Radić set up 4 blocks. Pole Jakub Urbanowicz had 83 % reception (12 digs, 33 % excellent). Latvian Edvarts Buivids scored 16 points for Amriswil, which he made through a 75 % attack (15/20).

This is the first championship title for Chênois since 2012 and the 20th trophy counting all tournaments in the country.
