USA W: These 18 players will try to push US Women to VNL title defense

The roster that will try to push the US Women’s National Team to 3rd consecutive title in the FIVB Volleyball Nations League is unveiled.



The US Women are coming together to defend their title at the VNL in the 2021 edition, which will be held in a secure bubble in Rimini, Italy, on May 25-June 24. Actually, American ladies are the 2-time and only champions of the VNL, which began in 2018 after being held instead of the FIVB World Grand Prix.

The US head coach Karch Kiraly and his staff have named the 18 players on the long list for the tournament of which there are 4 Olympians from Rio 2016, including captain Jordan Larson, and 9 players that were involved in winning the last VNL title.

The 18-women roster of the US National Team for VNL 2021: Micha Hancock (S), Jordyn Poulter (S), Kathryn Plummer (OH), Justine Wong-Orantes (L), Tori Dixon (MB), Lauren Carlini (S), Hannah Tapp (MB), Jordan Larson (OH), Annie Drews (OPP), Jordan Thompson (OPP), Sarah Wilhite-Parsons (OH), Michelle Bartsch-Hackley (OH), Kim Hill (OH), Foluke Gunderson (MB), Megan Courtney (L), Haleigh Washington (MB), Kelsey Robinson (OH), Chiaka Ogbogu (MB).
