Al-Ahli – Qatar SC
In the opening match, Al-Ahli overpowered Qatar SC 3:1 (25:20, 18:25, 25:19, 25:21) to make an impact in the league.
Referee Fahad Al-Awadhi officiated the match alongside Ahmed Hussein, while Mohammed Ali Al-Mohannadi, Secretary General of Qatar Volleyball Association was the match official.
Later, Al-Arabi thrashed Al-Sadd 3:0 (25:16, 25:20, 25:19) in one-sided affair. International referee Ibrahim Mahmood and Nasser Al-Muzaffar ruled the match, as Youssef Kano, QVA Assistant Secretary General was the match arbitrator.
