After losing in straight sets to Turkey this past weekend, head coach Raimonds Vilde says: “It was not nice to lose the first match that bad, we got back with some negative feelings but I think that each player has gone through it and will be fully ready for our second clash here in Jelgava”.

The first match is history; I admit that we did not play our own game there but we have to move on and look forward to the next match where I believe that the result will be much different” adds local spiker Viktors Korzenevics.

Latvia has got a unique opportunity to return back in action on the European scene after 18 years.
