“We have to be satisfied with what we did this past weekend because we got two away wins and did only lose to Belgium” says Serbia’s head coach Aleksandar Vladisavljev.
“I am also very happy to see that our team has been progressing day after day as it was shown by the result of our last game with Germany on Sunday. This home round will be easier because we already know our opponents, their strengths and weaknesses, but we shall rather focus on our own game. We have showed that even with a young group we can play at eye level with some of the best European teams. Germany is certainly the strongest opponent but Belgium did show their quality and is the sole team with a clean record in the Pool. We want to get as many points as possible from this home round so as to be a bit relaxed for the next couple of tournaments in Germany and Israel. Of course our main goal is to qualify for the final four in Bulgaria” he concludes.
