CL M: Budva hopes for revenge

by WoV

Everyone in Budva is very much looking forward to the game coming up next week for the fourth round of action in the prelims of the 2014 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League – Men. The home heroes of Budvanska Rivijera will try to bounce back from the straight defeat they suffered earlier this month to PARIS Volley. The result of this game may well impact on the final standing of Pool C where these teams are fighting with Poland’s Asseco Resovia RZESZOW to make the Playoffs 12.

“Right after our defeat to PARIS Volley we travelled to Slovenia where we played three friendly matches with the national team of Qatar” says Budvanska Rivijera head coach Sinisa Reljic. “We played there with the same line-up and strategy we intend to implement for the return game with PARIS Volley. We know that this is going to be a difficult game as it means a lot to PARIS as well but we also know that we have the necessary strength and quality to have the upper hand in the end” he continues.
Team captain Milan Markovic also knows what it takes to beat Paris: “We have the right motivation and spirit going into this game. We know that if we lose our chances to make the Playoffs will be gone and even though we lost in three sets in France we know we stand our chance. We only need to improve on all aspects of the game” Markovic concludes.
