Riffa Sports Hall less than 20-kilometres from the capital Manama was the venue for the Festival that featured 50 teams divided into four groups and was sponsored by Bateloc Telecommunications.
Teams played a round-robin opening pool with matches made up of one set matches with the first team to 25 points winning.
From there teams advanced to the knockout stages and onto the finals, all in front of local media and television.
