The participants to the 2021/22 Japanese Women’s Volleyball Championship, the Ageo Medics, hired Lorenne Teixeira.
The official announcement has finally arrived for the negotiation that began almost six months ago. The Japanese side Ageo signed the Brazil National Team member Lorenne for 2021/22. The 25-year-old opposite hitter came in place of Canadian Shainah Joseph, who went to Vandœuvre Nancy (France). The reason why the V.League participants were so persistent in their attempts to engage Lorenne is the desire of the head coach Antônio Marcos Lerbach, her compatriot, to have her in the team.
Lorenne, the winner of the recently-closed South American Championship, spent the last season in her home country – in Sesc RJ Flamengo.
