Luigi Randazzo will play abroad for the first time in his career. A former Italy National Team member and gold medalist at the CEV U20 European Championship, 10 years ago, strengthened Egypt’s Al-Ahly, the current African club champions (the best club in the continent 15-times in total). On the Cairo side, Randazzo will replace American international Garrett Muagututia.

The 28-year-old outside hitter last played for ’Azzurri’ in 2018 and was even a part of the squad at the last FIVB World Championship. Randazzo spent the last season in Gioiella Prisma Taranto.
