MEVZA M:  HAOK Mladost, Mursa and Waldviertel victorious, one match postponed

Three of the four originally scheduled games of the main round of the Mevza League were played yesterday. (Match Rieker UJS Komárno (SVK) vs OK Mladost Ribola Kaštela (CRO) has been postponed)

Croatian team MOK Mursa Osijek needed five sets to defeat SK Zadruga AICH/DOB from Austria, final result was 3-2 (17-25, 25-19, 22-25, 25-18, 15-12). After a 2-0 lead, Merkur Maribor was not able to maintain the same level of play and lost to the Croatian champion HAOK Mladost Zagreb, 2-3 (25-19, 25-15, 20-25, 21-25, 17-19). And in the last match, in the Austrian derby, Union Raiffeisen Waldviertel defeated VCA Amstetten NÖ with 3-1 (25-23, 25-10, 22-25, 25-18). 

The match between the Slovakian team Rieker UJS Komárno and OK Mladost Ribola Kaštela from Croatia was canceled at the request of the Croatian team.
