Following his outstanding season in Italy, Petar Đirlić has continued to impress in Qatar, leading a revival for Police SC, who finished sixth in the regular season. The team dominated the playoff phase of the Qatar championship, winning all their games and finishing as the top team in their group to secure a spot in the semifinals. Although they lost to Al Arabi SC (Petković, Sedlaček) in the semifinals, they put up a strong fight in a 5-set match against Qatar SC (Finger, Ćirović, Georgiev), who finished second in the regular season, ultimately clinching third place in the Qatar Volleyball League for the 2022/2023 season. Notably, Petar Đirlić was the game’s top scorer, racking up 46 points with a 51% attack success rate, 4 aces, and 4 block points.
