Soli replaces Gheorghe Crețu, who led the team from 2022 to 2024. Currently coaching Trentino Volley, Soli recently won the 2023/24 CEV Champions League.
With a coaching career that began in 2011, Soli has worked with top clubs like Fenerbahçe, Vero Volley Monza, and Top Volley Cisterna, and also led Estonia’s national team in 2022-23.
Slovenia faces major challenges this year, including the FIVB World Championship in the Philippines and the Volleyball Nations League (VNL). Their VNL campaign kicks off in Rio de Janeiro (June 11-15), followed by tournaments in Burgas, Bulgaria, and Ljubljana.
