The 2024/25 Serbian Volleyball Cup finals brought thrilling victories for TENT’s women’s team and Radnički’s men’s team, as they dominated their rivals in Kragujevac to claim the prestigious titles.
TENT Makes History with First-Ever Cup Win!
After heartbreak in last season’s finals, TENT has bounced back stronger than ever! Following their Super Cup victory earlier this season, the Obrenovac team secured their first-ever Serbian Cup title with a commanding 3-0 win (25:22, 25:19, 25:15) over Železničar.
Displaying confidence and composure, TENT took control from the start, neutralizing their opponents with a strong serve and relentless attack. Malina Terrell led the charge with 15 points, while Mina Mijatović and Nevena Sajić added 13 and 12, respectively. With this momentum, TENT now has its sights set on a potential historic treble this season!
Radnički Ends 15-Year Wait with Dominant Final Performance!
Kragujevac was electric as Radnički claimed their first Serbian Cup title since 2008, defeating Partizan in straight sets (25:19, 25:19, 25:21) in front of a roaring home crowd.
Despite Partizan’s efforts, Radnički controlled the game from start to finish, fueled by Milutin Nejić (16 points), Milan Krstić (15), and Ivan Ćirović (11). Partizan’s Mohammad Sadeghi (12) and Ignjat Dopuđ (8) fought hard but couldn’t stop Radnički’s momentum.
MVPs of the Finals: Nevena Sajić and Ivan Kostić
Nevena Sajić shined for TENT, stepping up in key moments, especially in the decisive third set. On the men’s side, Radnički’s experienced setter Ivan Kostić orchestrated the attack brilliantly, proving to be the difference-maker in the final.
