Draisma Dynamo Apeldoorn Claim First-Ever Cup Victory
On Easter Monday, the women of Draisma Dynamo made history by winning their first national cup, defeating Friso Sneek in straight sets: 20-25, 14-25, 23-25. The final took place in a packed Maaspoort in Den Bosch.
It was their first cup final appearance since 1975. This time, led by coach Erwin Sikkema, they delivered a dominant performance.
“Everything came together today,” said a joyful Helena Kok. “The crowd support was amazing. We’re so proud.”
