JPN W: Shimamura led Red Rockets to win, Seagulls also unbeaten

NEC Red Rockets survived a dramatic match at home court against Body Queenseis in the third round of Japanese V-League and remained unbeaten after the battle that lasted twp hours and 18 minutes – 3-2 (25-21, 20-25, 18-25, 25-21, 15-10).

Haruyo Shimamura was the best scorer in the team of Red Rockets with 20 points, followed by Oumi Akari who scored 19.

In Body Queenseis which noted all three losses, Saki Takeda scored 20, while Rika Kawashima and Mari Yamada, had 15 each.

Okayama Seagulls is another team that did not lose the match so far. As hosts, they beat Hitachi Rivale with 3-0 (26-24,25-22, 25-20).

Moe Sasaki and Aiki Kawabata scored 17 for Seagulls, while the American Lauren Paolini scored 17 and Megumi Kurihara 11 points for Hitachi.
