Shandong
In the clash of two out of top three teams in the standings, Shandong led 2-0 in sets, Beijing recovered, but lost strength and gave away a tiee-break.
The American William Price was amazing in Beijing with 26 points, but on the other side, three players stood out – Ji Daoshuai (18), Song Jianwei and Kou Zhichao, 14 points each.
The leader, Shanghai, had an easy job as a guest against Henan – 3-0. This time, the Italian star Cristian Savani was not the best scorer in his team. He collected 15, while his teammate Dai Qingyao had 18 points. Du Kunyu was the best in Henan with 17 points.
Sichuan pushed its way to the fourth place on the table with a tough win over Bayi as a visitor – 3-2. The french Mory Sidibé demolished Bayi with 25 points. Believe it or not, Zhong Weijun’s 39 points was not enough for the hosts!
Jiangsu defeated Fujian with 3-0 thanks to 22 points from Liu Xiangdong.
