Egypt claimed their sixth successive Women's U20 African Championship after beating Kenya 3-0 (25-16, 25-12, 25-17) in the final match held at the Eastern Company Hall in Cairo, Egypt.

The Egyptians also won this age group championship in 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2012.

Egypt finished the competition with a win-loss ratio of 2-0 (6 points), ahead of Algeria who were second with a 1-1 record (2 points). Both teams confirmed places at the FIVB Volleyball Women’s U20 World Championship in Limassol & Kato Polemidia, Cyprus from July 3-12.

Kenya ended their campaign in third position, with 0-2 win-loss record in their first participation in the finals since 2009.
